More details

There is a magical place where you can always be yourself. In this magical place, you can turn on your light, and light up your life. This place is your imagination.Your imagination is something living, with its own voice. Your imagination is the expression of your freedom. In your imagination anything good can happen ...

Marta Arteaga is a writer of images in action (imaginACTION). Since she was a little girl, this has been what she enjoys most. She imagines so much that she needs to tell it! She writes tales, children’s literature, illustrated books, poetry, film scripts, theater plays, songs...whatever she is challenged to imagine.

With a Media Studies Degree, Marta has worked as a journalist and a film critic for important mass media. She also has degrees in screenwriting, theater arts and oneiric symbology. In 2009, her script "Cuido perros, gatos, plantas y peces de colores con cariño" (“I Look After Dogs, Cats, Plants and Goldfish with Love”) was awarded by the Ministry of Culture.

What she likes most to imagine are stories for children…of all ages. When she imagines worlds, she observes in silence what happens in them; every story is alive and wants to be told in a unique way... discovering it is a thrilling game!

True to her surname, Marta makes Art (“Arte aga” literally means that she makes art): she is an ArtiSun, storyteller, actress, singer, and theater and film director. She is also an Artistic Coach: she has invented a creative method to awaken the inner child that is inside each of us through use of our imaginations, games, love and laughter.

This book, "Inside My Imagination", has been recognized by literature professionals and its cover was awarded a gold medal at the International Latino Book Awards 2013.
