This graphic novel Café Budapest (Astiberri 2008, Timof, 2010) takes the desolation of Budapest in 1947 as its starting point, and this was Zapico's first work to be published in Spain; the work was taken as a reflection of the chaos and barbarism of modern day Palestine.
