More details

This book is part of the collection “From the cradle to the moon” (“De la cuna  a la luna”). The collection is designed by the publisher Kalandraka using a poetic pictogram technique. According to the writer, Antonio Rubio, it is following the rhythm of the reading that the child will “train the eye and sweeten the ear”. For its part, the Spanish awarded illustrator Óscar Villán, elaborates the aesthetic part of these special books with touches and shades which are easily visible. As a result, the pictures are always highlighted on a light background and the images are simple and straightforward. Children who approach these books will encounter easily readable images with a great visual and communicative impact, for the pictures are articulated similarly to words and arranged following a rhythmic structure emulating versus and choruses.
